Training Cancellation Policy

We recognise that plans can change, and unfortunately, there will be times when cancellations incur costs, and as a result, the following policies apply.

If you are wanting to chat about options for cancelling or rescheduling a course, please contact us to discuss further.

Speaking Savvy aims to be flexible and accommodating with training, and recognises that in some cases there are exceptional circumstances in which a charge may be waived. If there is a compelling reason, we can reschedule your training to another date. Work commitments are generally not considered a  compelling reason.

Please email lisa@speakingsavvy.com.au to make any changes. All cancellations and reschedules must be made in writing.

In-house training course cancellation

Training courses held in-house at your premises will be invoiced at least two weeks prior to the course being held and must be paid for prior to the date of the training, unless formal procurement arrangements are in place with Speaking Savvy.

A full refund will be provided on the cost of the course, provided we receive notification of cancellation at least 14 days prior to the course date.

A 50% refund will be provided up to 7 days prior to the course date, and cancellations received less than 48 hours before the course are not refunded.

If you would prefer to reschedule to another date within 12 months of the original date then no fees are incurred.

In the unlikely event of a course requiring rescheduling due to instructor illness or unavailability, the cost of the course will be refunded in full, or alternatively rescheduled at a mutually acceptable date.

Public Training Course Cancellation

A 50% refund will be provided up to 7 days prior to the course date and cancellations received less than 48 hours before the course are not entitled to a refund. Refunds will not be given for a “no show” on the day.

In the event of a course requiring rescheduling due to instructor illness or unavailability, the cost of the course will be refunded in full, or alternatively rescheduled at a later date, should you not be able to attend the rescheduled course a full refund will be provided. You may also transfer a booking to another person subject to notice and cancellation periods.
